Many thanks to The Karachi Collective and Zara Saeed Zuberi for publishing another generous and thoughtful review of my spring 2022 solo exhibition at Koel Gallery in Karachi.

Mass Cultural Council Grant
I am very excited to share that I am a 2022 Mass Cultural Council Grantee in Drawing and Printmaking!
Many thanks to Mass Cultural for continuing to support artists in such uncertain times. I look forward to investing the grant into new projects that expand the boundaries of what drawing can do.
The Center is Everywhere - Solo exhibition, Koel Gallery, Karachi
I am pleased to announce the forthcoming opening of The Center is Everywhere, my second solo exhibition in Pakistan. Presented by Koel Gallery in Karachi, this project sheds light on my evolving engagement with the intersections of abstraction, contemplative practice and craft. Linked by the common thread of geometric abstraction, the drawings and textiles assembled in this exhibition are inspired by metaphysical spatial symbols: the prayer niche—the narrow gate—the radiating star—the center as sanctuary.
Martha Boschen Porter Fund Grant
This fall I was fortunate to receive a grant from the Martha Boschen Porter Fund—another wonderful program of the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation—which supports artists experiencing a significant change of direction in their practice. This funding has allowed me to establish a new studio space in downtown Williamstown while preparing for two forthcoming solo exhibitions.
The grant has also helped me to return to drawing on a monumental scale. A highlight of this effort has been the realization of The All-Seeing, a new, experimental drawing on leather in which I have reimagined and elaborated on the existing painted composition of Novitiate, a work produced in 2012.
