This fall I was fortunate to receive a grant from the Martha Boschen Porter Fund—another wonderful program of the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation—which supports artists experiencing a significant change of direction in their practice. This funding has allowed me to establish a new studio space in downtown Williamstown while preparing for two forthcoming solo exhibitions.
The grant has also helped me to return to drawing on a monumental scale. A highlight of this effort has been the realization of The All-Seeing, a new, experimental drawing on leather in which I have reimagined and elaborated on the existing painted composition of Novitiate, a work produced in 2012.
